Joleen Schrag, 65, Topeka, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2005 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Schrag was born November 5, 1939 at Pretty Prairie, KS, the daughter of Ed R. and Lena Graber Krehbiel. She graduated from Bethel College in 1961 and taught school at Potwin Elementary School in Topeka for 2 years. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1961. She spent the majority of her adult life as a homemaker, raising their two children.
She married Joe Schrag on June 22, 1962. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter: Monica Schrag, Topeka and a son: Myles Schrag and wife Shelley, Urbana, IL., and one grand daughter, Zoe. One brother: Janver Krehbiel and wife Linda, of Mason, MI., and a sister-in-law: Bernice Krehbiel, El Cajon, CA. Joleen was preceded in death by a brother: Marlowe Krehbiel.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. at the Southern Hills Mennonite Church, 511 SE 37th, Topeka 66605. A visitation wil be held at the church on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 P.M.
