Johnarveen Brown

Johnarveen L. Brown (Jonni), died Wednesday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness.

Ms. Brown retired as a nurse from Stormont-Vail Hospital and the Shawnee County Health Department.

She was born in Junction City, Kansas the daughter of John and Helen Robinson Hocker. She attended school in Junction City and Topeka, Kansas.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberli Marshall and Kristi Brown, one son, Ronnel Bradberry, five grandchildren one Aunt Dorothy Robinson, one brother John Hocker of Los Angeles, CA;
and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Brown will lie in state after 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home where the family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
