John Wheeler
John E. Wheeler, 68, passed away Aug. 7 at his home. He was born July 9, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Everett and S. Katherine (Riebe) Wheeler.
He was a dental technician and owned Wheeler's Dental Lab. He retired from Wal-Mart. He was a member of Philadelphia Church of God. John was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors include; a daughter, Christina Wheeler Hayes and her husband, Lealand of Ohio; three brothers, Steven, Everett and Bill; one sister, Maureen; and three grandchildren, Micah, Lily and Landon. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Mon., Aug. 11 at Lane Cemetery in Lane, KS. John will lie in state after 4:00 p.m. on Sun., Aug. 10 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel with visitation from 5:00-7:00p.m.
