John W. Tipton

John W. Tipton, 61, of Topeka died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at a Topeka hospital. He was born on September 21, 1943 at Topeka the son of John S. and Edna Ritter Tipton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Stewart Tipton on February 7, 2002 and his parents. He is survived by one cousin, Richard Walker of Overland Park, KS. John was an employee of the State of Kansas, most recently working in the Department of Aging where he had many loyal and caring friends. He was an active member of the Topeka Chapter of the National Railroad Historical Society, an interest he and his father shared for many years. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association, P.O.
