John David "Dave" Marshall, 84, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020.
He was born February 28, 1936, in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Russell and Theresa Marshall.
Dave served in the United States Air Force for 20 years prior to retiring. He drove a Seaman School Bus for 25 years and worked in maintenance for the Seaman School District.
Dave was a member of Rolling Hills Christian Church of Topeka.
Dave married Arlene Weaver on December 22, 1962 in Topeka, KS.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene Marshall; three daughters, Kimberly Gandy, Kelly Hildebrandt and Barbara Miller; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dave enjoyed caning chairs. The family requests those that may have had chairs in his custody to contact, Arlene Marshall at 785-221-8792.
Honoring Dave's request, cremation is planned. No services are scheduled at this time. Penwell-Gabel Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604 is assisting the family.
Interment of Dave's cremated remains will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
