John Kenneth Morgan, 67, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014.
John was born October 31, 1946, in Topeka, son of Kenneth and Iva (Hauschild) Morgan.
He graduated from Topeka High School and Washburn University.
John honorably served in the US Air Force. He worked as a car salesman for many years. John most recently worked and retired from Colmery O'Neil VA Hospital.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth Morgan, Topeka; three sisters, Martha Lambert, Theodore, AL, Iva Cox, Topeka, and Sandra Wendelburg, Gravois Mills, MO; two brothers, Gary Morgan, Brea, CA, and Dee Morgan, Las Vegas, NV; and many nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Ft. Leavenworth.
John will lie in state and visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, Topeka.
