John Dierksen

John Bradley Dierksen, 56, Topeka, passed away Friday, December 19, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1952, in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of John A. and Doris M. Dierksen. .

Brad was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He married Ann Phillips in 1978, she preceded him in death. Brad worked as an office assistant "The Printer" for the Adjutant General Department for the Kansas National Guard. He loved golf, fishing and his beloved dog "Chewy".

Surviving his mother Doris M. Easterling of Lawton, OK, his sister Jane Mason of Ada, OK, a niece, a great niece and 5 step children.

Brad will lie in state after 1:00 PM, today at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will be at 3:00 PM on Monday the 22nd at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association care of the funeral home.
