John Anthony Foster

John Anthony Foster, 43, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at his home. He was born on August 7, 1964 in Topeka, the son of Albert E. and Wanda G. Foster. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1981. He was employed by Frito-Lay for 12 years and later owned and operated J & J Auto Sales in Topeka. John was involved in stock car racing for several years. Survivors include his father, Albert E. Foster of Topeka, his mother, Wanda G. (George) Wash of Topeka, one brother, James E. Foster of Topeka and his aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Private burial will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery. John will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
