John A. Bullard

April 16, 1960 — September 5, 2014

John Adrian Bullard passed away on September 5, in Tecumseh, at age 54.

John retired from the Navy where he was an Aviation Storekeeper, 2nd Class. He spent his career on aircraft carriers, including the Constellation, the Ranger and the Nimitz. John loved his work and took pride in keeping the F-14s in the air. He settled in Poulsbo, Washington where he took up the art of craft beer. He produced beer commercially and won public competitions against many large brewing companies.

John's warm and engaging disposition was endearing and his infectious laugh will ring in our ears forever. John will be cremated and be committed to the sea in a Naval burial.

John is preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn Bullard, and two sisters, Therese Lewis and Sarah Zibell.

His eleven remaining siblings, Andrew Bullard, Janet Brunton, Patrice Lamoree, Joe Bullard, Nanci Flesher, Tim Bullard, Carita Bullard, Chris Bullard, Paula Harrison, Margaret Krogmann and Mary Boland and his beloved nieces and nephews will miss his broad smile and kind heart.

A celebration of John's life will be held at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town, Topeka, on Friday afternoon at 4:00 pm.

We have lost the best among us. We will forever be blessed by his life.
