Joe Annie Roberson, 90, of Topeka, passed away on February 5, 2019.
She was born on September 6, 1928 in Wichita, KS the daughter of Joseph and Eunice Hutt.
She married Leroy Roberson on December 26, 1948 in Topeka. He preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by six siblings; children, Virginia Roberson-Boyd, Richard D. Roberson, James Edward Roberson; grandchildren, Nicole McLaughlin, Melissa Boyd; and a great grandson, Raymond Solis.
She is survived by children, Edna Roberson-Jenkins, Patricia Roberson-McLaughlin, and Lee Roberson; grandchildren, Jamie Roberson, Adam Roberson, Daryl (Yara) Edward-Jenkins, Julian Jenkins, Jordan Jenkins, Jozias Jenkins, Jazmin Jenkins, Jaidah Jenkins, LaReisha McLaughlin; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Solis, Noah Riley, TeryOnte' Hampton, Lawrence Pickett, DeLissa Pickett, Dyrek Edwards-Jenkins; great-great-grandchild, Giovanni Solis and a brother, Philip Hutt.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
