Joann Fiegenbaum

JoAnn Louise Fiegenbaum, age 79, of Wichita, KS, formerly of Topeka, KS, passed away August 19, 2013. She was born on March 10, 1934, in Morrill, KS, the daughter of Joseph and Irene Meyer.
JoAnn was raised around the Fairview, KS, area and attended Franklin School and Fairview High School, graduating in 1952.
She married Harlan C Fiegenbaum on June 14, 1953 in Fairview.
JoAnn held various secretarial positions, retiring from Washburn University.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran of Topeka, KS, and Holy Cross Lutheran of Wichita, KS.
JoAnn is survived by daughter Cindy Fiegenbaum and husband David Haskell of Dodge City, KS, son Carl Fiegenbaum and wife Barb of Rose Hill, KS, and grandchildren Anna, Debra, and Evan Fiegenbaum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Doris and Elsie, her brother Vic, and her husband Harlan.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 23, at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, Topeka, with Pastor David Schemm officiating. Burial will be at Topeka Cemetery.
She will lie in state Thursday, August 22, at 3:00 P.M. with visitation at 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday, August 22, at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel.
Memorial contributions can be made to Christ Lutheran Church of Topeka.
