Joann Elizabeth Strimple

Joann Hardy Strimple, 83, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
She was born March 21, 1931, in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Clyde and Ruth (Smith) Hardy. She graduate from Baldwin High School and attended the University of Kansas.
Joann was an administrative assistant for the MTAA and later retiring as administrative assistant for the Attorney General.
Joann married Larry Strimple on November 12, 1971 in Topeka, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include a her children, Vanessa Roller (Jim Figgs), Topeka, Vicki Mirowski-Rogers, Loveland, CO and Michael (Becky) Manion, Port Charlotte, FL; two brothers, Alfred Hardy, Lees Summit, MO and Mark Hardy, Las Vegas, NV; ten grandchildren, Rachael Roller, Gregory Roller, Christopher Mirowski, Brandi Walhstrom, Becki Carlson, Meghan MacDonald, Josh Rogers, Wade Manion, Hillary Manion and Tyler Manion and nine great-grandchildren, Lillian, Luke, Brianna, Lilly, Isiah, Trinity, Teghan, Blake and Ashley.
She was preceded in death by her son, Marty Manion, step-son, Steven Strimple.
Memorial services will 11 am, Saturday, July 19 at Topeka Bible Church, 1135 SW College Ave, Topeka, KS 66604. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
