JoAnn DeBernardin, 75, of Topeka passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009 at her residence. She was born November 3, 1933 in Topeka, KS to Gerald Joseph and Ruth Delphine (Logan) Fisher.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Julie A. Nelson (Bruce) of Topeka; Randy R. Carver of Topeka; and Janine R. Rhone (Donavin) of Tecumseh; grandchildren, Tracy Fender, Todd Carver both of Topeka, Jonavin Rhone and Jeriney Rhone both of Tecumseh; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Carver, Mitchell Carver, Haley Fender, Lindsey Fender and Brooke Fender all of Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cat Association of Topeka, 1719 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66604.
