Jim G. Ridgway, 75, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011.
He was born July 1, 1936 in Topeka, the son of Wesley B. & Bertha (Stithem) Ridgway, they precede him in death.
Mr. Ridgway retired from the Education Credit Union. He also worked for the maintenance department at Washburn University, and operated several service stations in Topeka.
Jim is survived by a longtime companion, Mary Barry; a daughter, Linda (Ridgway) Ludington; four grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; three siblings, Janie Pankratz, Richard Ridgway, and Stephen Ridgway; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a wife, Ruthy Ann (Bulger) Ridgway; a son, Jimmy Ridgway Jr.; two brothers, Howard & Larry Ridgway.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5th, 2012 at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka, KS 66604.
