Jesse James Quall, Jr., 83, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family.
Jesse was born on July 30, 1933, in Nevada, MO, to Edith Louise (Schaffer) Quall and Jesse James Quall, Sr. He graduated from Topeka High School and was drafted into the US Army where he served four years. Jesse was a residential and commercial painter for 46 years and was last employed with J. F. McGivern, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed wood working, water skiing, and Kansas State sports.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Deanna (Jones) Quall; three children, Curt Quall and wife, Sara, Chad Quall and wife, Gerrie, and Cindy Allen and husband, Leland; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Ella Fisher and Patty Moran.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS.
