Jesse Dean Boyer, Sr., 33, Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was born July 2, 1981 in Topeka, the son of Jack A. Boyer and Frances (Franny) A. Deters.
Jesse grew up in Topeka and attended Capital City High School. He held various jobs in the construction and carpentry business.
Jesse is survived by his children, Jessica and Jesse Junior; step-son, Bradley McCollum, all of Topeka; his mother, Franny (Carl) Deters, Topeka; three brothers, James (Trish) Frye, Osage City; Raymond (Sarah) Frye, Silver Lake; Brad (Sarah) Boyer, Topeka; one sister, Laura Boyer (Jared), Topeka; grandparents, Mary Adkins, Carbondale and Jack Counts, Topeka and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack A. Boyer, grandparents, Lila Boyer and Kenneth Sorenson.
Memorial contributions may be made to his mother, Franny Deters in care of the funeral home, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604.
A remembrance gathering will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Penwell-Gabel Family Center, 1940 NW Central Ave, Topeka, Kansas.
