Jeanne W. Patterson,82, of Topeka, died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at her home.
She was born January 13, 1923 in Cheyenne, WY, the duaghter of Dean E. and Lottie Pancake Brassell. She graduated from Oakley, KS High School in 1940.
During World War II, she was secretary to the Adjutant at the U.S. Army-Air Force Supply Depot in Denver, CO.
She was married to Duane T. Patterson, June 3, 1945 in Denver. He died September 12, 1989.
Mrs. Patterson worked as a secretary at the Patterson Advertising Agency for several years and at First Impressions Printing before she retired in 1983.
She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and had served as Ruling Elder in the church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Georgia A. Balint, Topeka; and two sons: Philip D. Patterson, St. Louis, MO. and Steven D. Patterson, Topeka, and four grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 4746 SW 21st, Topeka on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Patterson will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel after noon on Friday, January 7, 2005 and visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
