Jeanne Beauchamp, 86, Topeka, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2007 at a local hospital.
Jeanne was born June 30, 1920 in Topeka, the daughter of Herbert and Gertrude (Morgan) Mack.
She married Paul Beauchamp on July 23, 1942 in Pensacola, Florida.
She studied Fashion Illustration at the Kansas City Art Institute. She was a Fashion Illustrator for Crosby Brothers and had worked as an Interior Designer for Design Forum for over 20 years. She and her husband owned and operated Beauchamp Frame Shop and Gallery in Westboro Mart.
She was active in the Junior League of Topeka for a number of years and was designated as their representative to the Mulvane Arts Center.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years; daughter, Brooke Beauchamp, Kansas City; son, Paul "Richard" Beauchamp, Jr, Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Beauchamp's Gallery, 3113 SW Huntoon, Topeka.
