Jean E. Middleton, 87, Topeka, entered into rest on Sat., March 8, 2008 at Aldersgate Village.
Jean was born on July 28, 1920 in Marquette, MI, the daughter of Holger and Florence (Dupras) Clemenson.
She graduated from Northern High School in Flint, MI in 1939.
Jean married Ralph James Middleton in Los Angeles, CA on Sept. 30, 1944. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1978.
Jean was an avid bridge player and enjoyed sewing and decoupage.
She is survived by two children, Deborah and husband, John Sidwell, Topeka and Larry and wife, Patti Middleton, Salem, OH; six grandchildren, Christopher, Michael and Devin Middleton, Scarlett and Diane Sidwell and Amber Sack; six great grandchildren, Allie, Breana, Colton, Haley, Chase and Aiden.
Jean was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jo Middleton.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. A private graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery in Marquette, MI on Thurs., March 13.
In lieu of flowers or monetary donations Jean would prefer "you go out to lunch with a friend".
