Janet Falk Miller, 69, Gilbert, Arizona, formerly of Topeka, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003 at Mesa General Hospital, Mesa, Arizona. Janet lived in the Phoenix area for the last 15 years and will be remembered for her generosity and exuberance for life.
She was a dedicated volunteer and member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at Washburn University. Janet enjoyed a succesful sales career in the publishing field. Her cooking, gardening, needlework, and time spent with her family, brought her much joy.
She is survived by her daughter Vickie Neal and husband David of Gilbert, AZ; daughter Kim Garcia and husband Fernando of Colorado Springs, CO; her son Brad Miller of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren, Heather, Cristina, Noah, Stephanie, William, and Mike; her great-granddaughter Madalyn; her brother, William Falk of Topeka.
Services will be 10:00 am Friday at Grace Episcopal Cathedral. Entombment will be in Mt. Hope Mausoleum. She will lie in state after noon Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 pm.
