Janet L. Davis, 60, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 of a sudden illness at a local hospital.
Janet was born January 8, 1947 in LaCrosse, the daughter of Bill and Grace (Ross) Mendenhall. She attended LaCrosse schools.
She worked for Sears in Great Bend and Topeka for 29 years.
Janet was married to Jack A. Davis in 1984. He survives of the home. Other survivors include sons, Danny Gamblin and wife, Linda, Chad Gamblin and friend Kim, Topeka; step-daughters, Kylie Davis and Kristan Davis, Manhattan; 2 grandchildren, Kylie Gamblin and Logan Stevens; brother, Jerry Mendenhall and wife, Sherla, Rush Center; and her three cherished dogs, Missy, Bailey and Keeley. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel.
