Age 66, Topeka, passed away Saturday May 3, 2003 at his home. He was born August 18, 1936 in Gainesboro, TN the son of Martin Luther and Carrie Edith Gentry Lynn and moved to Topeka in 1963.
Mry Lynn was currently employed by Food-4-Less and prior was employed by Fleming Foods Compamy for 26 yrs. Mr. Lynn was a Staff Sgt. in the US Air Force for 12 years and served in Vietnam as a munitions expert. He was preceded in death by a brother Luther "Buddy" Lynn.
He married Dixie Dykes in 1966. She survives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1:00PM May 8, 2003 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Cremation will follow. Private family inurment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Lynn will lie in state from 1:00PM Wednesday, May 7, 2003 until service time. The family will receive friends and relatives from 7:00PM-8:00PM that evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Rd. 66617.
