James "Jim" Edward Howard, 78, of Topeka, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022.
He was born July 7, 1943, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Everett Earl Howard and Martha Ann Noland. He graduated from Eskridge High school. After graduation, Jim attended Washburn University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree. Jim served in the United States Navy.
Jim was a Facilities Manager for the Kansas Department of Transportation.
In his spare time, Jim enjoyed wood working. He previously was proud to be a JC
Survivors include his son, Adam (Belinda) Howard; grandchildren, Mason Howard, Alexandra Howard and Brianna Childers; one great-granddaughter, Sophia Whitehead; siblings, Betty Patton, Kenneth Howard, Richard Howard, Donald Howard and Patty Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Robert Howard and Larry Howard.
Honoring Jim's wishes, cremation is planned. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please check back for service information.
