James H. "Jim" Hamilton, 71, Alma, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Stormont Vail Health Center.
Jim was born June 16, 1943 in Mountain View, MO, the son of Lester and Myrtle (Reese) Hamilton. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era.
He worked as a Mechanical Engineer with Central Mechanical Construction Company, retiring in 2009.
Survivors include his life partner, Beverly Harrison, Alma; daughter Brittney Hamilton, Sterling, CO; and sisters, Ruth Hadle and Judy Braland.
Jim was cremated and Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brittney Hamilton Education Fund.
