James George Shaw

James George Shaw, 70, passed away June 23 at his home. He was born in Horton, KS December 17, 1932 the son of Earl A. and Jean Snedden Chalmers Shaw.
He graduated from California State University at Hayward with a BS in Mathematics. He worked at Pacific National Bank in San Francisco. He retired from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA as a scientific computer programmer in 1990. He served overseas in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

He was married September 29, 1979 to Mary Tero she survives, other survivors are a niece and nephew.

Military graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, June 27 at Mount Hope Cemetery.A Memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel on Thursday from 7:00-8:00 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or American Heart Association.
