James Bauman, 76, of Topeka, KS passed away April 11, 2018.
He was born in Wausau, WI the son of Clarence and Irene (Londo) Baumann. He attended Wausau Schools. Jim joined the Air Force in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1965.
Jim married Geri Sue Figgins in 1962. She preceded him in death after 54 years of marriage.
He retired from Goodyear after 35 years. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the choir. He was a former member of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Board of Directors and also a member of the Chippewa Good Sams RV Club. He spent the last many years as a winter Texan in Harlingen, TX.
Survivors include his children, Cindy McQuillen (John), Wamego, Debbie Braun (Steve), Galena, MO, Steve Bauman, Topeka; grandchildren, Kaleigh Doke (Jared), Becca Brummett (Adam), Ben Braun (Liz), Josh Bauman, Jordan Bauman; great grandchildren, Liam, Bowen, Gracia; sister, Carol Draeger, nieces, Kim Draeger and Kay Kasmerchak all of Wauwatosa, WI; fiancée, Kathy Diehl, Topeka.
Rosary will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Meriden. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona, KS, with Military Honors.
