Jackie "Jack" Dale Figgs, 86, of Topeka, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017.
He was born October 27, 1930, in Valley Falls, Kansas, the son of John and Jane (Fletcher) Figgs. He attended Valley Falls High School.
Jackie was employed by Topeka Public Schools, retiring in 1992.
Jackie married Rita F. Figgs on July 22, 1950 in Topeka, KS. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two sons: Larry and David and seven siblings.
Survivors include a son: Rick Figgs, four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside inurnment will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 14th at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery & Mausoleum, 6th & Gage.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association - Topeka 3625 SW 29th St. Suite 102 Topeka, KS 66614. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family.
