J.Bradley Moser, 67, formerly of Topeka, died suddenly Monday, Oct. 18, 2004 at his home in Robertsdale, Alabama.
J.B. was born April 5, 1937 in Lenora, Kansas, the son of Ernie and Margaret Hisey Moser.
He graduated from Topeka High School in 1955. He married Kay Marlene Storum on April 15, 1957 in Lyndon, and then enlisted in the US Navy serving on submarines until 1961.
Following his discharge, he worked for his father at Capital Air Service as a flight instructor/crop duster until he was hired by Ozark Airlines. He finished his aviation caareer flying the MD-11 on transcontinental and transpacific flights for Delta Airlines on January 1, 1996.
He was a member of both the Western and Delta Retired Pilots Group.
J.B. is survived by his wife, Kay, two sons, Mark Moser and wife, Lori of Topeka and Scott Moser and wife, Laura of Indio, CA, six grandchilden, Katelin Moser, Melissa Moser, Ernie Moser and Jessica Moser of Topeka and Joe Moser and Hayley Moser of England. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cris Ann Moser.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Interment will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
