Ivan H. Lolley, 83, Topeka, passed away Thur., June 26, 2008, at a local hospital.
Ivan was born on Oct. 17, 1924, in Topeka, KS, the son of Andrew and Louise (Johnson) Lolley.
Mr. Lolley served as a 1st Class Bostwains Mate during WWII in the US Navy. He was part of the Tarawa to Japan Theatre.
Ivan married Maxine M. Mattox on June 9, 1945, in Topeka at Central Avenue Christian Church. She preceded him in death on Oct. 6, 2001.
Mr. Lolley worked as a truck driver for Fleming Foods, retiring on April 6, 1985, after 36 years and 8 months of service.
Ivan is survived by three sons, Steve and his wife, Gayle; Danny and his wife, Laura, and Mike and his wife, Becky; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren, with two more in the oven, and many family and friends.
Mr. Lolley was preceded in death by all five of his brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 7 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
