Isa Louise Noel Faust, 96, of Topeka, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010.
She was born in rural Wilson County, Kansas the daughter of Guy and Hazel (French) Noel. She was a graduate of Bloomfield Elementary, Rock Creek High School and Johnson Hospital Training School.
She was employed by C.F. Menninger Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse from 1962 to1972.
She was a member of Lowman United Methodist Church and held several offices in the United Methodist Women.
Isa married Harry K. Faust on October 20, 1934 north of Valley Falls, KS. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Steve Crandall. Survivors include her children, Bob (Marge) Faust, Drs. Ron and Norma Faust, Lila (Bob) Dallas, Don (Daina) Faust, Janice (Tom) Hartwich; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral ceremonies will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Lowman United Methodist Church, 4000 SW Drury Lane, Topeka, KS 66604. Interment will follow Lynn Creek Cemetery, Berryton, KS. Mrs. Faust will lie in state after 3 p.m., Tuesday, at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
