Irmtraud "Trudy" Yount, 62, passed away quietly Friday, April 22, 2016, with her daughters by her side.
Trudy was born June 12, 1953, in Goddelau, Germany, to Heinrich and Margareta.
Trudy grew up in Germany where she trained to become a nurse. She emigrated to the United States in 1971. Trudy had countless friends and was always willing to lend a helping a hand, due to her selfless and caring nature. She was a hard worker and excelled in many positions, many times working her way up in the organization. She retired from St. Catherine's Hospital and became a full time healthcare provider to her husband, John "Dubber" Yount, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her three children, Stephanie Stotler of Columbia, MD, Nicole Mueller of Topeka, KS, and David Corrales of Garden City, KS; and five grandchildren.
The family will have a celebration of Trudy's life at a later date in the Garden City, KS area.
