Inez Much

Inez "Mazie" Masenthin Much 81, Osage City, formerly of Topeka, died Sunday, evening Sept. 19, 2004.
She was born Dec. 27, 1922 at Vassar, KS., the daughter of Fred H. and Emma Schlicker Masenthin.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She graduated from Michigan Valley High School and Jane C. Stormont School of Nursing in 1945. She worked as a supervisor at Stormont Hospital from 1945-1950; she did private duty nursing from 1950 to 1952; Inez became office nurse for Dr. E.A. McClintock in 1952, and worked in this capacity until 1980.
She married Clarence H. Much on Sept. 8, 1957 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Topeka. He died May 16, 1990.
Survivors include her adopted family, Lee and Marie Seastrom of Osage City, and their children; Michael and wife Kristy Seastrom of Ft. Scott and David Seastrom, of Topeka and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004 at St. John's Lutheran Church with interment in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Much will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel
