Ima Jean Bean, 87, Topeka, passed away June 19, 2015. She was born December 27, 1927, in Topeka, the daughter of Orion and Thelma (Grant) Bean.
Ima Jean worked 41 years at the Topeka State Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Lane Chapel C.M.E. Church in Topeka.
She is survived by a "God-sent" daughter, Nicky Wright, of Kansas City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Lane Chapel, 1200 SW Lane, Topeka.
