Ilene Lamar Donnelly-Sandell, 67, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
Ilene was born January 10, 1951, in San Diego, California, the only child of Eugene Lamar and Harriet (Brody) King. Both proceeded her in death.
She was employed by Kansas Army National Guard as a Financial Technician retiring after 28 years.
Ilene married Garold "Gary" Sandell on November 11, 2001, in Topeka, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include: son, Andrew (Amy) Adams; daughter, Yvonne Bowman-Posch; son, Francis Kent; son, Andrew Sandell; daughter Alexa (Josh) Latta. Grandchildren: Victoria, Zoe, Ethan, Aaron, Johnathan, Sierra, Aaliyah, Grayson. Great-granddaughter, Kyndal.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 10:00 am at Penwell-Gabel, Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Mid-Town Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society and Salvation Army.
