Ila Margaret Loney

Ila Margaret Loney, 84, of Topeka, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010.

She was born April 7, 1925 in Agra, KS, the daughter of Solomon and Marie (Simmonds) Crown. She was a graduate of Agra High School. She was employed by Josten's Printing and Publishing, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Central Church of Christ.

Ila married Wilbur Leroy Loney on June 7, 1953 in Tulsa, OK. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2004. Survivors include her children Robin Wyatt (Judy), Colorado Springs, CO, Keith Loney (Sherri), Warner-Robbins, GA, Kerry Loney, Doyle Loney (Lyn), DeAnna Loney, Gerald Loney, Cindy Loney, all of Topeka; 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Winton, Lee and Phillip Crown; 3 sisters, Irene Deister, Mildred King, and Norma Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and a brother.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka. Interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Loney will lie in state after 3 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
