Ian Thomas Martin, 30, of Meriden, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
He was born June 11, 1992, in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Kimberly (Vining) Martin. He graduated from Jefferson West High School with honors.
Ian worked hard for Jeff West Junction in Meriden, Kansas for over 15 years. He served many roles for the company and was a great store member. He will be remembered as a dependable and hardworking individual.
He was a part of the Dungeon and Dragons Group of Holton and enjoyed getting together on Sunday's with everyone. Ian was an avid video game enthusiast, enjoyed spending time outdoors and bike riding. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Ian will be remembered as always happy. His favorite colors were blue and orange.
Ian is survived by his parents; sister, Michaela Martin; aunt, Ashley Vining; two uncles, Daniel and Brian Vining and two cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mickey and Thomas Vining.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 5:00 pm., Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604. His family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. The family has requested you wear blue or orange to the service in Ian's honor. The family requests that contributions be made to Penwell Gabel Funeral Home and designated to his funeral expenses, 1321 SW 10th, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
