Howard Walter Tudhope, 97, Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018.
He was born June 19, 1921, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of John and Mary (Walters) Tudhope. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1940.
Howard enlisted in the United States Army, and served during WWII.
Howard was clerk in the materials department at Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after 40 years.
He was a member of the Potwin Presbyterian Church.
Howard married Dorothy Elizabeth Gilliland on November 3, 1945 in Topeka, Kansas. She preceded him in death on September 12, 2010.
Survivors include a son, John D. Tudhope and his wife, Carole of Lee's Summit, MO; sister, Dorothy Dahlstrom (Clarence), Topeka; two grandsons, Stephen Tudhope (Heidi), Timothy Tudhope (Stacia); and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka.
