Howard K. Rake, 86, Topeka, died Wednesday, Jan.14, 2004 at his home.
He was born Feb. 5, 1917 in Topeka, the son of Teed and Edna Rake. He was a lifelong resident of Topeka.
Mr. Rake worked for over 25 years at the Colmery-O'Neil Veterans Administration Hospital before retiring.
His wife, Dorothy Rake died Feb. 18, 2001.
Survivors include a son, Ted D. Rake, Topeka, and a brother, Dean Rake of Florida.
Private services will be held. Interment will be in Penwell-Gabel Memorial Park Cemetery.
