Hester Jane Fletcher Lipps

Hester Jane Fletcher Lipps, 92, formerly of Topeka, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. She was born December 17, 1921, in Buford, Arkansas, the daughter of Edgar and Danie Fletcher.
Hester lived most of her adult life in Topeka. After the death of her beloved husband, Bruce V. Lipps, in 2001, Hester moved to the Chattanooga, Tennessee area to be near her sister's family. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jewell and Eudell Fletcher; and sister, Jessie Cooke. She is survived by her sister, Addie Belle Cox of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street, Topeka, Kansas. Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is handling arrangements. To leave a special memory of Hester, please visit the guestbook below.
