Henrietta F. Schick

Henrietta F. Schick, 94, Topeka, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at a local hospital.

Henrietta was born October 14, 1919 in Concordia, the daughter of Frank and Florence (Eakins) Paillette. She graduated from Concordia High School.

She retired in 1973 from The American Cancer Society.

She was a longtime volunteer for The Topeka and Shawnee County Library, member of PEO and of Grace Episcopal Cathedral.

Henrietta married John Christy in 1940 He died while fighting in World War II. She married Jerry Keller in 1954 who died after a long illness. She married Robert "Bob" Schick on June 20, 1970. He died May 25, 2008. Survivors include daughter, Stephanie L. Christy, Topeka; granddaughters, Kristie (Del) Campbell, Kansas City, MO, Kelly (Kevin) Horton, Lawrence; great-grandchildren, James and Gavin Campbell; and sister, Pauline Bloodworth, Arlington, WA. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Grace Episcopal Cathedral. Private family inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
