Helen Louise Condley, 80, Topeka, passed away Thurs., April 10, 2008 at a local hospital. Helen was born in Topeka, KS on Dec. 26, 1927, the daughter of Richard and Helen (Bradford) Hammer. She graduated from Topeka High in 1945. Helen married Arthur Condley on Aug. 25, 1950. He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1992. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Helen is survived by two daughters, Marcia Lessenden; Sharon Corn (Jim Troxell); son, Richard (Carol) Condley, eight grandchildren: Sunny Lessenden (Christopher Booth) of Portland, OR; Kelly Lessenden Welch (Nelson), Ashley Condley of Tucson, AZ; Kristin Lessenden (Jason Fish); Lisa Corn (Alex Collette); Sarah Condley (Ryan Irvin) of Tucson, AZ; Aaron Corn and Daniel Lessenden; 3 great children: Kaylee Welch, Kinsie Welch and Kaden Collette. She is also survived by many other family members. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tues., April 15, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Helen will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Mon., April 14 at the funeral home where family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m..
