Hazel I. Malone, 80, crossed over September 3, 2018.
Hazel was born in Kansas to Lester and Erma Jenks, August 22nd 1938. Attended School in Topeka. Married George F. Malone Jr. , who served in the Air Force.
George and Hazel were stationed to England, North Dakota, then retired in Denver, Colorado from the Air Force ; Where they continue to raise their family, three boys and three girls.
After Hazel retired from restaurant management, George and Hazel returned to Topeka, Kansas where Hazel wanted to be close to her mother and siblings.
Hazel loved to garden outdoors, play bingo and spend time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
All who came acquainted with Hazel's jovial presence left feeling light-hearted and cherished.
The family dearly loved her and she will be missed and not forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Prairie Home Cemetery, NW 35th & Menoken Road, Topeka.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in to Envista Credit Union, Topeka, KS. If you prefer to send flowers the family requests to call Custenborder.
