Hazel M. Kirby, 103, of Topeka, died Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Presbyterian Manor, Topeka.
She was born July 3, 1910, in Toronto, Kansas, to George and Jennie Burt.
Mrs. Kirby was married for 72 years to William G. Kirby, who died in 2002.
She was a member of Lowman United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Bill (Ruth) Kirby, St. Louis, two daughters, Melba (Jim) Derossett, Los Lunas, New Mexico, and JoAnn (Bob) McKinley, Topeka, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at Lowman United Methodist Church, Topeka.
Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
Visitation will be held at Lowman United Methodist Church one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Lowman United Methodist Church.
Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
