Hazel A. Little

Hazel A. Little, 92, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on June 9, 1915 in Lingle, WY, the daughter of Claude and Bertha Wood Summers. She had resided in Topeka since 1952. She was a homemaker and worked for Duckwalls before retiring. Hazel married Carl W. Little on January 16, 1943 in Corballis, OR. He preceded her in death in January of 1994. Survivors include one son, Ray Little of Topeka, one daughter, Patricia Sullivan of Scranton, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Joshua Daley. Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Hazel will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 4125 S.W. Gage Center Dr., Suite LL-15, Topeka, KS 66604.
