Harry John Devlin, 75, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at a local hospital.
Harry was born December 15, 1929 in Topeka, the son of Harry J. and Elizabeth Ann Porubsky Devlin. He attended Topeka parochial schools.
Harry served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
He worked for Santa Fe Railroad as a Coach Carpenter in the Topeka Shops for 35 years.
Harry married Flora Dean Mayhue on August 3, 1953. They later divorced. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter; Sheila Reigh Nissen, son; Todd A. Devlin, sister; Hazel Barnes, and a brother; George Devlin Sr. all of Topeka; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother; James M. Devlin and a grandson; John A. Lane.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 10:45 A.M. prior to the service.
