Harriet Ann Harding, 90, of Topeka, Kansas went to her eternal home on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Harriet was born on December 14, 1931 to Wilfred Finley Sr. and Vivien Elizabeth (McDaniel) Mastin in White City, Kansas. She graduated from Herington High School in Herington, Kansas in 1950.
On February 5, 1955, she was united in marriage to Warren A. Harding in Topeka, Kansas. Four children were born to this union.
Harriet was a faithful member of the Town and Country Christian Church in Topeka. She loved to go to Sunday school and church, travel, tend her flowers, paint, play cards, and cuddle babies. She was a devoted wife and mother who deeply loved her family. She worked as a switchboard operator before and after raising her children.
Harriet is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Virginia Kant, Vera Bates, Thelma Person, Marion Jones: an infant son, Kevin. She is survived by husband, Warren Harding; three children: son, Brad (Kathy) Harding; son, Shawn (Thalia) Harding; daughter, Denise (Randy) McFall; 7 grandchildren, Jessica (Chad) Farris, Jon (Libby) Harding, Adrian (John) Peters, Megan (Zac) Goins, Micah McFall, Matt McFall, Sloane Harding; 14 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Wilfred F. Mastin, Jr.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 25 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 1321 SW 10th Avenue. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Town and Country Christian Church, 4925 SW 29th Street, Topeka, Kansas with visitation 30 minutes prior to service. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery at 3616 SW 6th Avenue.
Memorial contributions may be designated to Town and Country Christian Church or Midland Care.
