Harold Dwight Schutter, 93, Lee's Summit, MO, formerly of Topeka, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004 at John Knox Village in Lee's Summit.
Mr. Schutter was born Oct. 7, 1910 in Eskridge, the son of Frank A. and Mary W. Wilke Schutter. He graduated from Eskridge High School in 1930, and lived in Topeka for 58 years before moving to Lee's Summit in 1998.
Mr. Schutter was a self-employed electrician. He was a member of the Electrical Union #226, and was a founding member of antique car clubs in Topeka and Lawrence.
He married Flora Mae Hubbard on May 19, 1935 in Bonner Springs. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Laurin W. Schutter of Leawood, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Bern Schutter.
Services will be 11:00 am Friday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Interment will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
