Harold L. Clinkenbeard, 94, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2004 at Midland Hospice House.
He was born July 21, 1910 in Easton, KS to Robert and Leah Edmonds Clinkenbeard.
He graduated from Easton High School in 1928.
After high school, he worked for Meadow Gold Dairies in retail sales,retiring in 1972 as sales manager.
He was a Past Master of Golden Rule Lodge # 90 A.F.& A.M. and a Past Worthy Patron of Helena Chapter # 210, O.E.S.
He married Myrnice Housh on October 8, 1932 in Leavenworth KS. She preceded him in death in 1993.
He was preceded in death by: infant daughter, Charlotte and a son, Ronald; a sister, Wanda Figgs and a brother, Donald Clinkenbeard.
Survivors include: a daughter, Shirley Scott and her husband Jim of Granbury,TX; a son Robert Clinkenbeard and his wife Jan, of Pagosa Springs, CO, a brother Charles Clinkenbeard of Topeka and a daughter in law, Connie Clinkenbeard Fleming of Trophy Club, TX, four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, many relatives and friends.
Mr. Clinkenbeard will lie in state for family only. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2004 at the Jellison Chapel, Topeka Presbyterian Manor, 4712 SW. 6th Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
