Topeka--Harlan Fiegenbaum, 74, died Thursday, June 24, 2004 at his home.
He was born May 2, 1930 to Carl F. and Anna R. (Kruse) Fiegenbaum in Fairview, KS. He married JoAnn Meyer on June 14, 1953.
He graduated from Fairview High School in 1948, served in the USAF1950 through 1954, attended Clark School of Business, was employed at Martin Tractor Company for 27 yrs, then by AmVestors until he retired in 1995. He was an active and involved member of the Lutheran church. He loved family time as well as playing and watching sports.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Cindy Fiegenbaum Haskell and husband, David, Dodge City, KS; son, Carl and wife, Barb, Rose Hill, KS; brother, Cecil, Topeka; sister, Mary Wilson, Sabetha, KS; 4 grandchildren, Anna, Debra & Evan Fiegenbaum; LeeAnn Haskell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ivan.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m , June 29 at Christ Lutheran Church, 3509 SW Burlingame Rd., Topeka, with Pastor David Schemm presiding. Burial will be at Topeka Cemetery.
He will lie in state Monday, June 28, beginning at 10 a.m., with visitation that evening from 6:30 to 8:30 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home Midtown Chapel.
