Guido "Max" Bogner, Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022.
He was born February 9, 1962, in Pforzheim, Baden Wurttemberg, Germany, the son of Gustav and Gerda (Hirschmann) Bogner.
Max graduated from Goldsmith Trade School in 1981 in Germany. He later immigrated to the United States in 1987.
He enjoyed being around his family and friends. He had a contagious laugh that will always be remembered by all that knew him. His pets were a huge part of his life. His family and friends would call him the Life of the Party.
Max worked for Anchor Gold Jewelers for a total of 34 years, eventually becoming the owner.
Max married Andi Hite on September 27, 1988 in Topeka, and later divorced in 2008.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Gustav Bogner.
Survivors include his mother, Gerda Bogner; Two Brothers, Thorsten (Charlotte) Bogner, Uwe (Ingrid) Bogner; Sister, Angelika (Reinhold) Ochs; Stepdaughter, Cassandra (Darren) Campbell; Step-Grandchildren, Brennen Hite, Cameron Schwartzkopf, Josh (Lexi) Campbell, Jeremy (Emma) Campbell, Brooklyn Campbell; and Ex-Wife, Andi Hite.
A Memorial Ceremony will be 1:00 pm, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Penwell-Gabel - Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka.
A wake to receive family and friends will be held at Vikings Grille (Valhalla Room) 4731 NW Hunters Ridge Circle, Topeka, KS 66618, immediately following the service. Guests will be responsible for their own purchases of food and drinks.
